Performance & Training Programs 2019-2020
We are so excited to announce a new structure for performance & training opportunities at The Dance Project! These programs are designed to meet each dancer in the current level of their training progress and push them to the next level. Whether your dancer loves the stage, is passionate about training & competition, or wishes to dance professionally, we are sure to have the perfect fit for your dancer!
We look forward to working & growing together to make The Dance Project the best studio it can be and are happy to have you along for the journey!
Our three programs are as follows:
The ambassadors program is perfect for recreational dancers ages 6&up who want additional performance opportunities throughout the dance year with a low-moderate level of commitment and financial investment.
Ambassadors will participate in community events throughout the year and be recognized as representatives of The Dance Project and its culture in our community. The ambassadors will rehearse and perform as one large group of all ages.
The Company program is perfect for the dancer ages 7&up who is passionate about and committed to growth in their dance training. Commitment level for this program is moderate-high and will include some Saturday rehearsals and technique classes. Company will be focused primarily on training in the studio with faculty and guest teachers, as well as 2 conventions and 3 competitions throughout the year. Company must be available for training starting in August.
The company members will rehearse and perform in separate groups divided by ability as designated by audition score.
The Elite Dancer program is designed for the fully-committed and passionate dancer who desires dance as a course of study in college or a profession in the future. Elite dancers are required to participate in both Ambassador and Company programs, in addition to private training and a full schedule of weekly studio classes.
