Autumn Robbins (Jazz & Hip Hop)

Autumn discovered the joy of dance at an early age, performing almost every night for family members. When the living room could no longer accommodate her choreography, her parents enrolled her at her first dance studio at the age of 8, and she was quickly recruited for a hip hop competition team. As her love of dance continued to grow, she soon evolved as a well-rounded dancer, studying multiple disciplines.

Later, she joined the dance company of the prestigious Pointe Dance Academy in Aurora, Colorado, owned and directed by former New York City Rockette, Mindy Young, while simultaneously attending middle school at the Denver School of the Arts.

In high school, Autumn served as captain on her school dance team, earning a Colorado All-State Athletic Award, and leading her team to their first ever State Hip Hop Championship! At NDA dance camps, she won All-American and Top Gun recognitions and joined the NDA staff as an instructor after graduation.

Autumn earned her associates degrees from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in art and science, while a member of the Perkettes dance team. Further studies transferred her to Southeastern Louisiana University where she is pursuing a nursing degree and is a member and leader of the school’s dance team, The Lionettes.

In her spare time, Autumn choreographs competition and performances pieces for several local high school dance teams, as well as teaching master classes and cleaning routines.
